"Doesn't it hurt?"
Asked the 45 YO architect, who had abandoned her practice after a nervous breakdown following her divorce & has now been traveling the world attending yoga and reiki retreats.
"Everything does".
We were sitting at the foot of magnificent Passu Cathedral.
"Phir?" She asked pointedly.
"Phir kia?" I looked her in the eyes, clouded by confusion and mistrust.
"How come you not show it?" She chewed her lips before resuming hesitantly, "You don't seem to belong to the tribe of the wounded."
"The experience of pain is my Mecca, K", I had smiled. "And I chose to migrate from it to the Yathrib of gratitude."
