عشق که بازار بتان جای اوست
سلسله بر سلسله سودای اوست
گرمی بازار خراب است
آتش دل های کباب است عشق
گفت به مجنون صنمی در دمشق
کا ی شده مستغرق دریای عشق,
عشق چه و مرتبه عشق چیست؟
عا شق و معشوق در این پرده کیست؟
عاشق یک رنگ و حقیقت شناس
گفت که: ای محو امید و هراس
نیست به جز عشق در این پرده,کس
اول و آخر همه عشق است و بس

Let Not the Moment Pass Unattended!

Hasti ke zohur mikonad dar hame shai’

Khaahi ke bari be haale vai baa hame pai

Rav bar sare mai habaab raa bin ke chesaan

Mai vai bovad andar mai o vai dar mai mai

(Jami)

Translation:

Being manifests Itself in everything.
If you want to discover Its state in everything,
Go and see how the bubbles are on top of the wine:
The wine is they in them and they are wine in the wine!

Fida-E-Naqsh-E-Nalainat Kunam Ja. Ya Rasul Allah!

Tanam Farsooda jaa para
Ze Hijra Ya Rasul Allah صلي الله عليه و سلم
Dillam Paz Murda Aawara
Ze Isyaa. Ya Rasul Allah صلي الله عليه و سلم!


My body is dissolving in your separation
And my soul is breaking into pieces. Ya Rasul Allah!صلي الله عليه و سلم
Due to my sins, My heart is weak and becoming enticed. Ya Rasul Allah!

Choon Soo’e Mun Guzar Aari
Manne Miskeen Zanaa Daari
Fida-E-Naqsh-E-Nalainat
Kunam Ja. Ya Rasul Allah!صلي الله عليه و سلم


When you pass by me
Then even in my immense poverty, ecstatically,
I must sacrifice my soul on your blessed sandal. Ya Rasul Allah!صلي الله عليه و سلم


Ze Jaame Hubb Tu Mustam
Ba Zanjeere Tu Dil Bustam
Nu’mi Goyam Ke Mun Bustum
Sukun Daa. Ya Rasul Allah صلي الله عليه و سلم!


I am drowned in the taste of your love
And the chain of your love binds my heart.
Yet I don’t say that I know this language (of love). Ya Rasul Allah
صلي الله عليه و سلم!


Ze Kharda Khaish Hairaanam
Siyaa Shud Roze Isyaanam
Pashemaanam, Pashemaanam, Pashemaanam. Ya Rasul Allah صلي الله عليه و سلم!


I am worried due to my misdeeds;
And I feel that my sins have blackened my heart. Ya Rasul Allah!

I am in distress! I am in distress! I am in distress! Ya Rasul Allah!
صلي الله عليه و سلم


Choon Baazoo’e Shafaa’at Raa
Khushaa’I Bar Gunaagara
Makun Mahruume Jaami Raa
Daraa Aan. Ya Rasul Allah صلي الله عليه و سلم!


Ya Rasul Allah صلي الله عليه و سلم! When you spread your hands to intercede for the sinners,
Then do not deprive Jaami of your exalted intercession.

It is from Thy face!
that petal takes its tenderness
From Thee learns the nightingale
the sweetness of its tongue!

ہر کس کہ لب لعل ترا دیدہ بہ دل گفت
حقا کہ چہ خوش کندہ عقیق یمنی را

Har Kas ke Lab-e-Laal Turra Deeda be Dil Guft

Haqaq-e-Che Khushkandeh Aqeeq-e-Yemeneera, Yemeneera, Yemeneera

All who see Thy garnet lip, 

whisper in their hearts!
No doubt so lovely are these
Carnelians of Yemen!

خیاط ازل دوختہ بر قامت زیبا
در قد توایں جا مئہ سرو چمنی را

Khiyaat-e-Azal dokhta Bar Qaamat-e-Zeiba

Dar Qad tu ee Jama-e-Sarv e Chamaneera, Chamaneera, Chamaneera

Oh how the Eternal Sticher
beautifully tailored Thy frame!
For Thy pattern has become
the fabric of garden Yews! 

در عشق تو دندان شکست است بہ الفت
تو جامہ رسا نید اویس قرنی را

Dar Ishq Tu Dandaan shikast Ast Be Ulfat

Tu jama Rasa Need Awais Qarni Ra, Qarni Ra, Qarni Ra

In my love for Thee
I broke all my teeth
O send over Thy Shirt..
to this Owais of Qarn!

ازجامی بے چارا رسانید سلامے
بر در گہہ دربار رسول مدنی را
