They say 'Forget & Forgive' form the key components of every human relationship; but I think forgiving alone is the key to the victory stand that celebrates the status of being a 'human'. It is more humane to grant forgiveness than to keep it, for that was the first thing Man asked for! So how could it be that man would not know the worth of it? Could it be? :)
How often do we find ourselves at the crossroads of self where there are choices to be made: to use the art of blow, or to use the art of forgiveness. When the times are tough, and the self is turmoiled; when the soul hangs in a vacuum and patience begins to wash away with the moving sand of the hourglass. It is in such times that we desperately need for strength, strength to keep choices, strength to make decisions, strength to stand by the consequences, and strength to keep on hoping that the tide would change ..... And at all such times it is so pertinent to know what could fuel that strength! The ultimate knowledge that no matter how desperately vulnerable we may be at the hands of adversity, there remains one final authority that always remains ours: the power to forgive.
It is this power that liberates one from the demons of a captive past; grants one freedom from the haunting rancor that keeps seething under a calm exterior, day in day out.
It is this power that becomes the magical potion for a believer's ailing soul; strengthening his belief in His mercy, His forgiveness, when he himself chooses to forgive in his own limited sphere.
Because at the end of the day, forgiving is the important element of any successful love story!

Thanks for such wonderful post.
To get to hear from you, believe me the pleasure is all mine msafer :)
I personally don't like the word "forgive" I rather use unconditional love... then there is nothing to forgive, as we accept the person for what she/he is... without conditions.
great post.
