Meer i sipah na-sazaa, Lashkaryaan shikastaa suff

Aah voh teer i neem kush, jis kaa na ho koi huduf




Commander beyond reproach, the soldiers disarrayed,
Woe the half-drawn arrow, that has nowhere to go!
